Asfaload develops a solution to help secure and authenticate downloads from the internet.

After a successful private Proof of Concept phase, we are ready to take the next step, which is developing a production ready solution. We have decided to develop our solution in an open and transparent way, hoping to foster discussion with a community of interested people. A blog is in that regard a valuable tool, which is now available.

We have included a flexible commenting system to foster discussion, supporting authentication through Github and Google, but also, at least for an initial period, enabling anonymous comments. Anonymous comments involve a risk of incivilities and unacceptable behaviour, but let’s start in an optimistic way. At least at the beginning, we think it might make it easier to get some feedback. As soon as it becomes problematic, we’ll disable them.

Each blog post will have a comments section, which is powered by the self-hosted open source solution Remark42.
